Dear Anarchist, Happy 4th of July.

I was subscribed to a blog that was brilliant. It was completely based on making people think outside the box. I loved it. It made me feel informed and like my thoughts had a more focused depth to them. And the best part is that it was completely unbiased.
Well they must be under new management or something because now they are very biased. Almost everything they post is against something I stand for. Recently they even posted something making fun of fat people. Okay? What are we in high school? Come on now.

One of the things they have become most biased about and speaking out most on is the government. Suprise Suprise. They proclaim themselves to be Anarchist. I’m going to respond to this in the only way I know how:
WHAT?!
Is this blog now run by 17  year old boys? Cause that’s the only anarchists I’ve ever met. But I will address this with my own thoughts in my own blog.

I know that people who shout for anarchy seem like they know a lot about what’s going on in the government and like they have a good idea of what’s best for the country. I often find that anyone who knows a little more than me sounds like they know what’s up. It’s not true.
Not only is anarchy a horrible idea, it’s an improbable idea. I’ll explain.

anarchy (noun)

1. general lawlessness and disorder, esp when thought to result from an absence or failure of government
2. the absence or lack of government
3. the absence of any guiding or uniting principle; disorder; chaos

First off, for how long our government has been intact, it is actually an incredible system of government. There was no way that the Fore Father’s could have guessed what our day and age would be like. They had no clue, go back in time and try to explain a computer to them. How about a pen? They still used quills to write like we are playing freaking Harry Potter.
BUT! That aside, the system they created is still functioning. AND the majourity of Americans are not discontent with the government, it just seems like a lot are because the discontent ones are the only ones speaking out about it.

There have been many attempts to overthrow governments and usually what happens is the people then look for new leadership. People need leadership, it’s in their basic nature to look for someone to lead them. And often times after a revolution or a government falls, the wrong person steps up to the plate and then we have an even worse government.
Not to mention, do you really believe people can govern themselves? Or do you even really want them to? Suddenly my neighbour can shoot me whenever I park in front of his house. Who’s to stop him? Or do we suddenly want everyone in prison released? People need a law to live by that will be enforced.

Now anarchy isn’t even possible because of the advanced military we have now. All they would have to do is punch on a satellite and you would be taken care of. But not even that, if they enforced Martial Law then we would all be so much happier.

In all honesty though, I don’t pretend to be an expert but I do know that anarchy is an outdated requests. Revolutions are so 1700s. Does this mean that there isn’t corruption in the government? Not at all. But it’s now our system that is corrupt, it is the people inside it.
I feel like the people who complain about our government are the ones who have never lived under a crappy government. Follow me and we will go down to Mexico, where the only thing that has advanced past the 90s is the drugs. Where drug cartels can kill whoever they want. Where the government truly doesn’t give a damn and the same 10 families that were in power 200 years ago are still in power today. Want a government that sucks? Go down there.
And as for the war, I have yet to meet a soldier that has been in the middle east who doesn’t think we should be over there. Cause once again, when you truly have a government that sucks, life sucks and won’t get better. Sorry our country is the only one who will speak out against these things.

If you want anarchy, then you want a worse life than you have now. And if you are that worried about the government, run for office.
So, Dear Anarchists, Quit Whining.
